The 2026 MEUA Semi-Annual Meeting will again be held concurrently with the NYMPA Annual Meeting at the Embassy Suites – Destiny USA in Syracuse on May 21st and May 22nd.

The NYMPA Annual Meeting will be from 9:00 to noon Thursday morning, and the MEUA Semi-Annual Meeting will convene after lunch and the Vendor Expo on Thursday and continue to mid-afternoon Friday.  Your MEUA registration fee includes lunch on Thursday, so please arrive in time to join us for lunch and the Vendor Expo on Thursday if you are not planning to be in attendance for the NYMPA session.

We are very excited to unveil our brand new MEUA App and Digital Registration Forms!

By clicking this link, you can install the app on your phone or desktop.  If you prefer, you can also use it just like a website in your browser.  You do not have to create an account to register, but if you need to save your registration form for a later time, you can create a free account and a link will be emailed to you.

The app has many capabilities, but currently it will function as your all-in-one spot for everything related to registering for and navigating the NYMPA Annual and MEUA Semi-Annual Meetings.  More upcoming events will be added soon, along with lots of other exciting content!

Here’s what you will find on the app right now:

• The NYMPA Annual Meeting Agenda and the MEUA Semi-Annual Meeting Agenda.
• The Official Notice of the MEUA Semi-Annual Meeting
• Hotel/Venue Information – The deadline to receive the preferred rate has passed.  If you still need to book a room, please let me know, and I will contact the hotel directly.
• Municipal and Corporate Member Registrations – In an attempt to simplify and modernize registration for our events, we are moving away from printed registration forms – we’ve gone digital!  You can register multiple attendees on one form.  After you register, an invoice will be emailed just as it has in the past.
• Sample Delegate/Proxy Resolutions for MEUA and NYMPA – These can be downloaded and filled within the forms (but cannot be submitted through the app at this time).  Please make sure to submit your board resolution(s) to the MEUA and/or NYMPA (if your system is a member) office prior to May 21st.

We are pleased to be partnering with MEUA Corporate Member, Irby, host vendor for the Conference, to present this excellent program focused on all aspects of line worker safety.

IUOTA is a national organization devoted to increasing efficiency and effectiveness of training for overhead and underground personnel.  IUOTA has an amazing program planned, with many knowledgeable and engaging speakers and vendors.

We encourage all line crew members and supervisors to attend, along with anyone in your system that has worker safety responsibilities! There is no registration fee for utilities! Breakfast and lunches are provided.  Attendees will be responsible only for their travel, dinner, and hotel rooms if needed.  Registration is simple, thanks to the convenient IUOTA app.  There you will also find the agenda, last year’s conference minutes, hotel and venue information, and more!

We understand it can be a challenge for systems to spare their line workers for the time required to attend events such as these throughout the year.  Because we feel so strongly about the importance of the training during this event, MEUA is sponsoring this event in lieu of holding a Fall Engineering Workshop this year.

We are very proud to be partnering with IUOTA and Irby for this event and are hoping to have a huge turn out from our MEUA Municipal Members!
